Tim Cook, Apple CEO: “The Osservatorio, led by Andrea Ceccherini, has been doing exceptional work for two decades, and we have now entered into a partnership”. 
At the launch of the latest edition of the "Quality information in the classroom" project, it was announced that Apple and the Osservatorio Permanente Giovani-Editori will partner on a technology and media literacy project.

The aim of this partnership is to enhance young people’s critical thinking and to hinder the negative effects of fake news.

As explained by Andrea Ceccherini, President of the Osservatorio, this project will be piloted in several important European countries, including Italy, with an input from the media worldwide.

The aim is to gather insights and recommendations to improve and ultimately expand this project globally.

During this event, Tim Cook, Apple CEO, emphasized his company's commitment to human rights, to renewable energy, and to providing equal access to education thus ensuring equal opportunities for all.
